DEVON

June 30, 2018

10am to 4pm Ken Maharajah, Creative Figure Painting Workshop at the Oak room Arts Centre, 2c St Peters St, Tiverton, EX16 7DB. Tel. 01884 821500.

Cost £50

Ken says: "I’m pleased you’re interested in something I’m passionate about, the human form. This workshop focuses on developing figure painting techniques. It offers an opportunity to tackle the problems of expressing the complexities of the human body, to experiment with different techniques and approaches, to develop your own personal mark making- skills and to learn something about anatomy.
"We will explore drawing and painting methods, materials and techniques, develop observational skills and make the most of the fascinating and time honoured practice of working from a live model.
"The classes are taught keeping your personal development in mind. Hence, subjects matter and techniques are tailored to your level and individual experience. Only 10 students are allowed per workshop. This allows me to provide individual and targeted advice."
