10am to 4pm John Whittaker, In and Out of the Garden, The Old Fire Station Gallery, 52 Market Place, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire. "I am displaying my triptych of Monet's garden 1 x 3m (detail above), alongside a series of paintings I have made of Monet's garden in Giverny. They are probably some of the best paintings I have done so far. I am also selling a number of prints and cards of my paintings."

130pm to 5pm Susie Lidstone will be working on a local view of Farnham in The New Ashgate Gallery, Farnham as part of Heritage Weekend.  "It is a really interesting building,” says Susie, who is known for her botanical and architectural watercolour.

Dr Aruna Mene solo exhibition Nehru Centre, Mayfair, London. Aruna is displaying 30 to 35 fabric collages and also craft things like rag rugs, fabric rope baskets, cushion covers and possibly wearable art - all from fabric waste and recycled textiles.
