Take things as they come I, pencil on Fabriano paper, 76 x 56cm

Cristina’s work is inspired by the nature of memory, the passage of time, and the fleeting feelings which can light up a moment in our lives. Cristina’s style hark back to the renaissance masters’ drawings with its paired down realism and use of chiaroscuro. Cristina feels equally at home working on figurative or abstract  pieces, even though she feels most at home when drawing people and she has worked on many commissions with complex briefs. In May 2018 she was voted full member of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists and during the last year her work has been selected for exhibitions at the Mall Galleries in London as well as for Open Exhibitions in Coventry, Leamington and Bath. At the moment Cristina’s work is part of a group exhibition at Canwood Modern Art Gallery and Sculpture Park. Her work is in private collections in Britain and Europe. In the future Cristina plans to keep working hard and exhibit in prestigious galleries in the United Kingdom and abroad.
