Romanvs is a mechanical engineer and a specialist in mathematical analysis of physical processes (especially thermodynamics). "The aim of my creative work," he says, "is to look for a hidden beauty in the ordinary surroundings around us and express them in my paintings, drawings and photographs." Through his creative work he also wants "to increase the interest about maths and engineering by using portraits of world famous scientists and technicians". Romanvs uses a variety of mediums including pen, ink and marker for his drawings through to oil, tempera, acrylic and airbrush for his paintings. They are produced on papers, cardboards, hardboards and canvas. He also makes linocuts. His motto is omne suo tempore (in its own time).
