Ann is a painter, etcher and enameller. She studied at the Arts Students' League, New York, has held exhibitions in London, Bath, Bristol and Italy and has exhibited her enamels with the British Society of Enamellers in Japan, USA, Canada, Mexico and Europe. She lives in Bristol and exhibits with the Royal West of England Academy, Spike Island Printmakers and Bath Society of Artists. In 2014 she won the Zenith Purchase Prize at the National Original Print Exhibition in London and exhibited an etching (Dawn) in the RA Summer Exhibition in 2019. Her work is inspired by travel and diverse reading. She aims to reach beyond the figurative into the realms of illusion and metaphor. Serendipity and the medium used affect her chosen concepts. She is inspired by artists such as Goya, Rembrandt, Odilon Redon and Ana Maria Pecheco.
