Antonia is mainly self-taught, originally specialising in flowers, particularly ramblers and creepers, roses and clematis from her own garden. She has successfully exhibited at Westminster Hall Botanical Artists exhibition and won a highly commended at the RHS show in London.  Antonia has been a member of the Society of Floral Painters and exhibited at their exhibitions at Mottisfont Abbey, Hampshire. In 1995 Antonia designed and painted the Laura Ashley calendar, which was on sale worldwide. In 2011 she had an illustrated book published, The South Downs A Painted Year, an account of all the flora and fauna, birds, butterflies and insects found on the South Downs where she lives. The book is still popular. Since then Antonia has digressed to vegetables, fruit, farm animals, poultry and horses. She helps her husband with their small farm at the foot of the Downs, helping with the sheep, pigs and poultry. "Apart from painting I enjoy gardening, riding my horse and walking my dogs," says Antonia.
