Amanda spent her childhood rescuing dragons from princes and her early adult life attempting to understand uncertainty. She is now an artist whose interests in narrative and natural form have come together in an extended study of the shapes and characters of real trees. She uses pen and ink to describe the remarkable and intriguing aboreal forms that she encounters on her walks in and around her North Hampshire base.
