What do you get when you combine the skills of a hardnosed business editor with those of an experienced art teacher?
Founders, husband and wife team, Tim and Caroline Saunders share a passion for arts and crafts.
They realise that professional artists and craftspeople do not want to waste their valuable time promoting themselves when, let’s face it, they would much rather be producing work. That’s why there's a need for Creative Coverage.
Prior to being Business and Motoring Editor at the Bournemouth Daily Echo, Tim wrote regular articles for The Artist and The Craftsman magazines. During his time at the Echo, he achieved 100 words per minute shorthand and developed his writing style while working to tight deadlines, juggling an extremely heavy workload and networking. Tim writes press releases and is regularly commissioned by publications to write features about Creative Coverage members. Aside from this Tim also interviews celebrities for various publications.
Caroline, an art teacher and herself an artist, enjoys producing landscapes using oils. As well as being a great mother to Harriett, Heidi and Henry, Caroline also interviews artists for The Artist magazine, designs literature and websites and publishes books for our members. With an extensive network of business contacts, and a growing list of media outlets, Creative Coverage is a winning formula for the savvy professional artist or craftsperson demanding greater recognition.
But we don't stop there because we also handle PR for some notable galleries. We appreciate that some creatives prefer to handle their own marketing while others employ expensive PR agencies. Creative Coverage however, provides a friendly and approachable service at a fraction of the cost of a PR agency with many more benefits besides including: press coverage, marketing, web promotion, networking and exhibiting.
Join Creative Coverage today and reap the rewards that arise from an increased media presence and exciting exhibition opportunities. Many of our members have sold work because of introductions we have made or exhibitions we have organised. Here are two success stories, among many others: Colin Merrin from Hampshire sold a £3,000 painting at our exhibition at the New Forest Centre Gallery in Lyndhurst. Jonathan Mitchell from Scotland sold a £1,750 painting at our exhibition at Michelham Priory, East Sussex. When he met the buyer he secured a commission, too.
Our thanks go to all those Creative Coverage members who renew each year. We are extremely grateful for your loyalty and commitment and look forward to continuing our work with you all.
