What do you get when you combine the skills of a hardnosed business editor with those of an experienced art teacher?
Founders, husband and wife team, Tim and Caroline Saunders share a passion for arts and crafts.
They realise that professional artists and craftspeople do not want to waste their valuable time promoting themselves when, let’s face it, they would much rather be producing work. That’s why there's a need for Creative Coverage.
Prior to being business and motoring editor at the Bournemouth Daily Echo, Tim wrote regular articles for The Artist and The Craftsman magazines. During his time at the Echo, he achieved 100 words per minute shorthand and developed his writing style while working to tight deadlines, juggling an extremely heavy workload and networking.
Caroline, an art teacher and herself an artist, enjoys producing landscapes using oils. Mother to Harriett, Heidi and Henry, Caroline also interviews artists for The Artist magazine, designs literature and websites as well as publishing books for our members. Few will surpass her attention to detail.
With an extensive network of business contacts and media outlets, Creative Coverage is the winning formula for the savvy professional artist or craftsperson demanding greater recognition.
Members feature in Contemporary Artist our quarterly online magazine, which is emailed to a growing database of art loving contacts.
Our In Conversation podcast gives members the opportunity to be interviewed about their work. We have listeners around the world.
Creative Coverage provides a friendly and approachable service at a fraction of the cost of a traditional high street PR agency with many more benefits besides.
Join Creative Coverage today and reap the rewards. Many of our members have sold work because of the networking we do on their behalf resulting in collaborations, introductions and exhibitions. Others ask us to help with their web presence and to take the hassle away from selling online.
A notable success, among many others, is longstanding member Sarah Pye, known for her large floral canvases. Gallery introductions we have made on her behalf have resulted in some splendid sales. We have also designed her websites and regularly update them.
Creative Coverage has published Journeys from the forest to the sea by Claire Wiltsher, which has sold out and Choosing the light by Mike Hall. We are now working on our third book.
We continue to generate good levels of press coverage for our artists and make some fantastic sales, too.
Our thanks go to all those Creative Coverage members who renew each year. We are extremely grateful for your loyalty and commitment and look forward to continuing our work with you all on this exciting journey.
