I just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU for all your hard work on our exhibition. You have got us so much local coverage it was amazing. We were also guests on the Jack Jay radio show on the evening before the exhibition opened and were on the radio talking to him for an hour. He is the ringmaster at the Hippodrome Water Circus in Great Yarmouth so I was in seventh heaven! I was also interviewed on the first Saturday for a short piece on the breakfast show on Radio Norfolk. As a result, we got about 60 people to our private view and a steady flow of visitors during the two weeks. I also sold quite a few of my pieces and have been asked to take some of my larger pieces over to someone’s house so that they can choose one or two of them in-situ. With regards to Aylesbury (Contemporary Glass Society), thank you again for your work on that as well. We have so far sold 12 pieces of work which is brilliant for one of our exhibitions – the best so far. AND one of the pieces was mine.

I have a live interview today at BBC Radio Wiltshire. Also BBC Points West phoned up, and they are considering a TV interview. Thank you. The BBC Wiltshire radio interview will play at prime time on the morning of the 17th then in snippets on the news during the day. Then they plan to put it on the arts programme. I'm pretty nervous about this now... thank you so much for your help :-) My radio interview was broadcast across the BBC's 39 local radio stations and was also mentioned on BBC Points West television. With all the PR that has happened my local post office has nearly sold out of stamps - how funny is that.

I have only been a Premium member for a few months but I am so glad that I became one. Tim always offers great service but the extra help provided with Premium membership has been invaluable. Thank you for organising and publicising the Lally Gallery exhibition. There was a very nice entry in Derbyshire Life, as I told you, but also a friend rang me in great excitement early one morning to say she had just seen my paintings on “Good Morning Britain” on ITV. There were entries in local papers, and probably other things I missed too. The exhibition looks lovely, the gallery is a delightful if small space, and I very much enjoyed meeting the other artists. The museum staff were ‘amazed’ at the exhibition, as was the lady mayor of Ilkeston apparently.

I am pleased with my membership of Creative Coverage and feel that you provide opportunities for exhibition which I would not otherwise be aware of. I feel that you make an effort to provide those opportunities in areas which are reasonably local to me. You are presumably doing this for all your members, on a national basis, which is impressive. I find Creative Coverage very active and I am sure that I do not use them to the best of their capability. I have now taken on an assistant and I hope that she will soon be able to develop our relationship further. They always seem to be energetic behind the scenes and, for the reasonable priced membership, I would consider it money well spent.

Following information you emailed to us, I entered the 2014 Broadway Arts Festival Open Art Competition in May/June and sold my large canvas of Shirley Brass Band at the preview, which was exciting. It has been lovely to meet up with Robert at the Hayrack Gallery in Northampton and Fiona McCrindle at the Edinburgh Drawing School. Robert is now selling my prints and cards and Fiona has been showing my work in her gallery in Edinburgh and also Glasgow. Thanks again for your facilitating my involvment with the United Society of Artists show in Cork Street in June. Four of the six paintings I submitted were selected for the exhibition, which is great in itself. I struggled down on the train and the tube for the hand-in with the four paintings bundled up into a hefty package and was rewarded by being awarded the Michael Harding Prize for one of my pictures, "A Winter Landscape near Cortachy". This painting was sold through the exhibition and is now in Toronto. I'm now a member of United Society of Artists and hope to show at their November exhibition at The Bankside Gallery, London. Thanks for forwarding the resume of my Creative Coverage activities 2014. Looking forward to renewing my subscription, showing you new work, and further Creative Coverage adventures in 2015.
